Roxana (she/her) joined LAANE in 2001 as the director of accountable development. She went on to serve as deputy director for six years until assuming the position of executive director in February 2012.
Prior to LAANE, Roxana served as economic development deputy to LA City Councilmember Jackie Goldberg. She began her work life as an organizer for the Hotel and Restaurant Employees Union in Las Vegas and Los Angeles.
