Maggie (she/her) joined LAANE in 2021 as a senior organizer. She worked with the Long Beach for a Just Economy campaign before becoming director of the Education campaign in 2023.
Prior to LAANE, Maggie worked with UNITE HERE, one of the nation’s strongest and largest unions, for nearly 18 years. She also served as the interim executive director for OCCORD. She began organizing as a student at Cal State Long Beach.
