Internship Program

Throughout our 25 year history, LAANE has made it a priority to train the next generation of social justice activists and leaders. Many interns have gone on to work for other progressive social justice organizations – some have even become campaign directors at LAANE. Others have careers in the labor movement or serve in leadership roles in local government.

We believe in fair wages for all workers, including students, which is why we created the Beth & Julia Meltzer Summer Internship Program, thanks to the generosity of Beth and Julia Meltzer.

With the annual support of private donors, LAANE offers expanded internship training opportunities in which young people can earn a good wage and continue their education by learning about:

  • Communications
  • Community organizing
  • Fundraising
  • Research

The 2019 Internship Program is accepting applications. Apply online today by clicking here! The application deadline is Friday, March 22 or until all positions are filled.
