Executive Vice President, Original Programming, EPIX
Nancy Cotton graduated from Harvard University with a degree in Art History. She has worked in the television industry for more than twenty years. Currently she is Executive Vice President of Original Programming at EPIX. Formerly she was President of Heyday Television USA, then Senior Vice President, Programming, at Fox TV Studios, where she oversaw scripted television for several cable series, including the Emmy nominated The Killing (AMC), The Americans (FX), as well as numerous projects in development. Nancy’s first job in show business was belting out show tunes at The Hollywood Savoy, a Paris restaurant.
Nancy has been actively involved for over a decade with the “I Have A Dream” Foundation, Los Angeles, whose mandate is to help underprivileged children become productive citizens by providing a long-term program of academic enhancement, mentoring and cultural enrichment with an assured opportunity for higher education. She is currently serving as Vice President of its board, sits on its development committee and has co-chaired their annual fundraiser for the past six years.
Nancy lives in Los Angeles with her husband, an attorney, and their two sons.
