Melanie Luthern Allen is a partner at the union-side labor law firm, Schwartz, Steinsapir, Dohrmann & Sommers. Melanie practices traditional labor law with a focus on comprehensive campaigning, policy, and legislative matters. Before starting at SSDS, Melanie worked at Unite Here Local 11 as a research analyst. Originally from Youngstown, Ohio, she currently lives in Santa Monica and serves on the City’s Personnel Board.
