Show Your Support for Good Jobs in Our Port Communities!
The Construction Careers and Green Jobs Policy will ensure that the 13,000 jobs created at the Port of Los Angeles over the next several years are good middle-class jobs for local residents. But we need your support! Sign the petition to the L.A. City Council and Harbor Commission to help us bring construction careers to the port!

Thirteen thousand new construction jobs will be created over the next several years at the Port of Los Angeles. Those jobs can help rebuild our communities’ middle class after the recession. We should enact a Construction Careers and Green Jobs Policy that makes sure the jobs created by the Port are good, middle-class jobs and that they are available to local residents.
