Beth
& David Meltzer's House Party
On
May 19, 2004, our longtime supporters Beth and David
Meltzer hosted an event in their beautiful home, introducing
LAANE to their friends. Madeline Janis-Aparicio, our
executive director, and Lizette Hernandez, the lead
organizer of the Stop Wal-Mart campaign, recapped the
victory over Wal-Mart in Inglewood and answered questions
from the guests. It was a great evening!
LAANE has held numerous house parties over the years,
both to discuss our work with supporters in an informal
setting and to raise funds for our programs. If you
