Policy Analyst for RePower LA

Position Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Campaign Director, the Policy Analyst will contribute to campaign goals through research into varied areas related to equity and green jobs at LADWP, potentially including: public employment and the civil service process; technological aspects of water and power delivery; creating new pathways to employment for low-income communities of color. The Policy Analyst will create research memos, reports, and fact sheets that inform campaign strategy, using a combination of government and union data sources, interviews, and public documents. They will represent RePower LA at various coalitions, including LATCC, SB535, and Energy Efficiency for All. The Policy Analyst will connect policy research work with RePower LA’s organizing and communications staff. Reliable transportation is required.
